Job Description

We are looking for skilled Fitters to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembly, alignment and fabrication-related activities as per engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform fitting and assembly work as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
Read and understand basic mechanical drawings and dimensions.
Mark, cut, drill, grind and prepare metal components as required.
Assemble and align mechanical and fabricated components.
Use hand tools, power tools and fitting equipment safely.
Check dimensions using Vernier calipers, measuring tape and other measuring tools.
Assist welders and other production teams during fabrication and assembly.
Identify fitting,



alignment or dimensional issues and report them to the supervisor.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Complete assigned production work within the scheduled time.
Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Required Skills
Positive practical knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly.
Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Basic knowledge of drilling, grinding, cutting and fabrication work.
Ability to use basic measuring instruments.
Positive understanding of dimensions and alignment.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Strong safety awareness.

Qualification

ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade or equivalent technical qualification.
