About the Role

Nexgen360Digital is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our on-site team in Egmore, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a robust eye for visual storytelling and be passionate about creating engaging videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and other online platforms.

Responsibilities
Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
Transform raw footage into polished, engaging, and visually appealing videos.
Add transitions, effects, subtitles, music, sound effects, and graphics as required.
Create short-form and long-form video content based on project requirements.
Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand creative requirements.
Ensure videos are optimized for different social media platforms and formats.
Maintain consistency in video quality, branding, style, and visual identity.
Select suitable music, footage, graphics, and other visual elements for projects.




Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.
Stay updated with the latest video editing styles, social media trends, and content formats.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Media, Visual Communication, Digital Marketing, Film, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as a Video Editor is preferred (Freshers with solid editing skills and a good portfolio may also apply).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, audio, and visual storytelling.
Good knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand creative briefs and work independently.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced team workplace.
A portfolio or sample work is an advantage.
