nOne of my clients is looking for Vertex Consultant @ Bangaluru, India please share me your updated resume and desire rate for this position.
nRole configuring, deploying, and managing Vertex O Series as tax rules evolve. The engagement covers the full Vertex lifecycle — from instance setup and installation through ongoing configuration and production deployments. Work is structured on a shared, part-time basis across a small consulting team.
nExtensively use the configuration and UI features of Vertex O-Series, and a solid working knowledge of these is a fundamental expectation for this role.
nAdditionally, a strong understanding of business requirements, hands-on Vertex O-Series configuration experience covering US and European tax rules, the ability to test data in bulk, and proficiency with Vertex reporting are all minimum requirements for this role.
nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
nVertex Configuration

Analyze new and evolving tax rules and map them to Vertex configuration settingsn




Configure tax rules, Boolean logic conditions, product/service taxability codes, and jurisdictional settingsn
Translate complex tax requirements and conditional rule structures into accurate Vertex rule definitionsn
Work with the team to validate configurations against real-world transaction scenariosn
Document configuration decisions, rule logic, and change rationale for audit and handoff purposesn

nInstance Setup & Installation

Lead end-to-end Vertex instance provisioning and installation (cloud-hosted or on-prem)n
Configure system-level settings, connectors, and integrations with ERP and commerce platformsn
Manage workplace setup across dev, staging, and production tiersn
Ensure proper data flows between Vertex and upstream/downstream systemsn
