Job Description – Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, tax compliance, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and reconciliation activities.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts and day-to-day accounting entries.
Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and other financial reports.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory tax compliances.
Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns and other applicable statutory returns.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Perform bank, ledger and vendor/customer reconciliations.
Maintain and monitor inventory records, stock movements and inventory valuation.
Coordinate physical stock verification and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Track expenses, purchases, sales and other financial transactions.
Assist with monthly/annual closing of accounts and audit requirements.




Coordinate with CA/auditors for statutory audits, tax assessments and related requirements.
Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and maintained as per applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com preferred).
2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
Valuable understanding of Balance Sheet, P&L;, Trial Balance and financial statements.
Hands-on experience with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Robust reconciliation and analytical skills

Pay: ₹8,594.31 - ₹41,748.56 per month
