Job Summary

As a Functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality through manual testing practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, execute test cases, and support the overall testing lifecycle. This role is ideal for junior candidates with a robust foundation in manual testing.

Roles And Responsibilities
Understand and analyze project requirements and acceptance criteria.
Design, write,



and execute manual test cases for applications.
Perform Functional, UI, Regression, and Smoke testing.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the defect life cycle.
Prepare and manage test data required for test execution.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and raise concerns.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Support release activities and maintain test documentation.
Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and efficiency.
