What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
The FX Analyst is responsible for supporting the Global Money Transfer team by managing complex, ambiguous, and high-risk transactional investigations for banking centres. The role provides dispute resolution and operational support related to compliance, sanctions, and reversals, while contributing to client-centric, innovative, and streamlined service delivery

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
Conduct complex transactional investigations and analyze high-risk or ambiguous cases related to foreign exchange and money transfer operations
Provide dispute resolution support to the GMT Operations team, including investigations involving compliance, sanctions, and payment reversals
Communicate clearly with internal and external partners to clarify issues, obtain required information, and confirm resolution




Prioritize and organize workload effectively to ensure deadlines are met and pending items are reviewed regularly
Collaborate with team members to coordinate operational activities and maintain service quality
Use Microsoft Office tools, including spreadsheets and formulas, to support investigation, analysis, and reporting activities

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Regular interaction with internal CIBC employees, teams, and departments to obtain, provide, and clarify information

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
