nAbout the Role
nWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale backend systems powering large-scale IoT platforms. You will work on systems that ingest, process, and analyze high-throughput data streams from distributed devices such as solar installations or other IoT-enabled infrastructure.
nKey Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services for IoT platforms handling millions of device events.n
Build and maintain high-throughput data ingestion pipelines for real-time and batch processing.n
Work with time-series data for monitoring, analytics, and reporting use cases.n
Architect reliable messaging systems using protocols like MQTT and queueing systems.n
Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.n
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and frontend teams to ensure seamless data flow.n
Implement robust monitoring, logging,



and alerting systems.n
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across distributed systems.n

nRequired Skills & Experience

Solid experience in backend development using Node.js with TypeScript.n
Hands-on experience building systems for IoT products at scale (solar, energy, or similar domains preferred).n
Deep understanding of messaging and streaming systems:n
MQTTn
Amazon IOT coren
Amazon SQS and SNSn
RabbitMQn
Experience working in high-throughput, low-latency settings.n
Expertise in handling time-series data (e.g., using InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, or similar).n
Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and system design.n
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).n
Solid debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.n
