Horizon Renewable Power is a rooftop solar player with over 10+ years in the sector, currently projects under execution of 72 MW+ across Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand. We're empaneled under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and are now scaling our residential rooftop business as our primary growth engine, building on existing project track record. We're bootstrapped and growing fast — this role will have real ownership from day one, not a slot in a large existing team.

Role Overview





We're looking for a Business Development Manager to build and scale Horizon's residential rooftop solar business across our operating states. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role closer to homeowners and DISCOMs than to boardrooms covering everything from lead generation and conversion to financing-partner relationships and after-sales attach.

Key Requirements
Proven experience selling or driving BD for residential rooftop solar, ideally under the PM Surya Ghar scheme specifically. Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, specifically rooftop solar markets and expertise in preparing techno-commercial proposals. Ability to build and run a residential lead-generation funnel — digital, referral, and channel/dealer-based — and to track conversion rigorously Working knowledge of DISCOM net-metering processes, subsidy disbursement timelines, and vendor empanelment requirements — and how these vary across states Experience in conducting
