What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

The Senior HR Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting the CIBC India by providing strategic and operational HR advisory services to business leaders and employees. This role is responsible for delivering HR solutions that align with enterprise strategies, local market requirements, and regulatory standards. The Senior HR Business Partner supports a Business Unit and serve as a single point of accountability for people matters, manages employee relations, and ensures execution of talent management, performance, inclusion, and employee policy frameworks.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
Act as the HR Partner for one of the Business Unit at CIBC India, providing HR Advisory support to Managers and teams.
Understand business goals, objectives, and operating environment,



develops and implements a human resource plan for business units to enable the business in meeting their goals and objectives.
Support the evolution of the HR function as CIBC India scales and matures.
Serve as a single point of accountability and partner with business on people matters.
Provide people insights and risk visibility to the Director, HRBP CIBC India to support decision-making.
Meets client expectations by effectively managing priorities, deliverables and ensuring HR solutions are rolled out in an integrated, effective and timely manner
Work with managers to ensure their HR requirements are met and to help build a working environment and culture that is conducive to high levels of employee commitment and engagement.
Support in Employee Relations matters and complex ER cases, investigations, and high-risk matters. Engaging internal committees or internal/external counsel when required.
