What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

The Payment Processor, ISP/ISBO, is responsible for the day-to-day review and processing of payments for domestic and overseas clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payment commitments. The role supports end to end processing, maintains high data integrity, and upholds client satisfaction while meeting productivity and service level standards.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
Process corrections and amendments to payment information to ensure data accuracy and timely execution
Repair Swift payments in IWS, ensuring accuracy and completeness for further review by verification team
Review and validate payment information in IWS to reconcile against corresponding transactions in ASG portal. Ensure completeness of information, and correct missing or inaccurate details as required




Liaise with internal partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction
Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and handle critical transactions efficiently
Stay updated on internal and external changes affecting payment operations
Assist in departmental initiatives and projects for continuous improvement
Identify and recommend routine improvements to processes and services
Identify and escalate issues requiring further analysis or investigation
Maintain system access and confidential material in strict compliance with audit requirements

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Regular interaction with internal CIBC employees, teams, and departments to obtain, provide, and clarify information
