Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and customer-focused Interior Design Consultant to manage residential design projects at HomeLane.

n

In this role, you will work closely with customers from the first consultation to design finalization and order booking, delivering functional, aesthetic, and budget-aligned solutions. This position requires robust design fundamentals, working knowledge of site execution, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customers while ensuring a smooth and delightful experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage assigned HomeLane customers from initial consultation to design finalization and order booking.
n
Understand client requirements and translate them into practical and aesthetically appealing design concepts.
n
Create accurate quotations, detailed designs, and production-ready drawings.
n
Ensure designs are feasible, installation-friendly, and aligned with site conditions.
n




Coordinate with internal teams (production, operations, and installation) for seamless project execution.
n
Present design concepts and pricing confidently to customers.
n
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and drive conversion targets.
n

Required Expertise & Qualifications

n

n
Minimum 1–3 years Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
n
1–3 years of experience in residential interior design projects.
n
Basic site experience with understanding of installation feasibility.
n
Proficiency in Google SketchUp (mandatory).
n
Robust fundamentals in space planning, modular furniture, materials, and execution processes.
n
Customer-centric approach with ability to balance design, functionality, and budget.
n
Positive verbal and written communication skills.
n
Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.
