Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the ocean export pricing and quotation process.
Procure competitive freight rates from shipping lines, carriers, and agents.
Negotiate rates with carriers/shipping lines to secure the most competitive pricing.
Develop and maintain solid relationships with Shipping Companies, CHA, Transporters, and other vendors across India Ports/ICDs.
Maintain and regularly update buying and selling rate sheets.
Support the Sales team by providing accurate and timely quotations.
Coordinate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams for accurate bookings.
Analyse pricing and ensure appropriate profit margins for every shipment and business prospect.
Maintain effective communication and robust relationships with all vendors.
