Role & responsibilities
Thorough Knowledge of Indian Standards for civil buildings & infrastructure development in the process industry
Knowledge of Building regulations & Environmental regulations - covering design phase & construction phases of Project
Study of site topographical and geo technical reports and selection of the design and construction needs as per relevant standards.
Involvement in layout engineering and Preparation of the building setbacks etc.
Guiding consultant on the needs of the projects taken up by the Company.
Review of consultant Design basis report and Design Indent to ensure all the statutory and civil engineering standards are included in the DBR.
Budgeting Time and Costs for the civil scope of the project




Support Project Schedular for freezing the civil construction timelines in the MSP schedule
Coordinating with consultant for release of drawings
Verification of the design drawings and documents submitted by the Design consultant before release to Design Peer reviewer and coordinating with Peer reviewer and internal Audit design team for approval of the same.
Compiling technical specifications for releasing Civil bids for shortlisting vendors/ contractors
Involve in the technical and commercial negotiations during bid finalization. Evaluation of the tenders and rating them for further discussions.
