Role & responsibilities
Drive zonal sales and business growth in line with the company's objectives and annual business plan.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies for the Nuro / Psychiatrist segment.
Achieve and exceed primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned zone.
Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to improve productivity and performance.
Ensure effective implementation of marketing campaigns, promotional strategies and product communication.
Identify new business opportunities, potential markets and growth areas within the zone.
Build and maintain solid relationships with key doctors, hospitals, institutions, distributors and other stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, product performance and customer feedback.
Conduct regular field visits and joint working with team members to improve execution and sales effectiveness.
Ensure proper territory planning, doctor coverage, customer segmentation and call productivity.
Manage distributors/stockists and ensure healthy inventory, product availability and secondary sales movement.
Review sales performance through regular MIS, dashboards and business review meetings.
Work closely with the Marketing,
Product Management, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams.
Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical promotion practices and compliance guidelines.
Develop high-potential team members and create a strong succession pipeline.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews to senior management.
Candidate Profile
820 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in specialty segments.
Experience managing a large sales territory/zone and field sales team.
Strong understanding of doctor engagement, prescription generation, distributor management and business development.
Experience in Neurology / Neuro / Specialty Care / related therapeutic segments will be preferred.
Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
Robust leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of the assigned geography and pharmaceutical market.
Should be willing to travel extensively within the assigned zone.
Solid team-management and people-development capabilities.
