National State Consultant - Education Data (Consultant is expected to be based in Bhopal for 14 months)

Minimum requirements
Education: Graduate degree (minimum Bachelors) in Social Sciences/ Humanities/ B. Tech
Work Experience:
At least 5 years experience of data analysis, report writing and documentation
Previous experience of working with EMIS data/ data analysis, policy and practice
Expertise in using MS-Office application software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point) essential, especially Excel.
Previous experience of working with the government administrative
Language Requirements: Valuable verbal and written communicaton skills in Hindi and English required
Location required: to be based in Bhopal for the assignment
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills:
Ability to analyze data,



identify bottlenecks to improve systems and provide recommendations
Positive analytical, writing and presentation skills.
Ability to create a database to address contextual needs.
Ability to organize, manage and participate within teams.
Desirables:
Previous experience working with a database on out-of-school children desirable
Knowledge and experience in using SPSS is desirable.
