]Overview:We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other mainframe technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and other relevant technologies.
Work with DB2 databases for data storage and retrieval, writing SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
Utilize CICS for developing online transaction processing applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, analysis, and solution implementation.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of mainframe applications.
Maintain and enhance existing mainframe systems for performance and scalability.




Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe-related issues and incidents.

Required Skills:
Robust proficiency in COBOL programming language.
Experience with JCL (Job Control Language).
Knowledge of DB2 database management system and SQL.
Expertise in CICS (Customer Information Control System) for transaction processing.
Understanding of mainframe architecture, tools, and settings (e.g., z/OS).
Familiarity with VSAM, IMS DB/DC (optional but advantageous).
Experience with mainframe development tools like ISPF, RDz.
Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
