Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines integrated with Bitbucket for automated deployments across settings.
• Manage and optimise EC2 and Ubuntu server environments hosting PHP, Python and Node applications on Apache.
• Administer secure SSH access to servers key management and hardening of remote access.
• Configure and maintain AWS Security Groups and network access controls.
• Manage and optimise databases like MySQL.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in different environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise application performance.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or System Administration roles.
• Robust hands-on experience building and managing Jenkins pipelines.




• Experience with Bitbucket for source control and CI/CD integration (Bitbucket Pipelines and/or webhook-driven Jenkins builds).
• Expert-level SSH skills — SSH config management and secure remote access practices.
• Deep experience with AWS Security Groups, NACLs, VPC networking, and applying least-privilege security best practices.
• Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, RDS, and related networking components.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx) and database systems (MySQL).
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
