Core Responsibilities
Fabrication drawing reading Interpret fabrication drawings, BOMs, welding symbols, nozzle orientations, and inspection notes.
Material verification Inspect and confirm SS304/SS316L raw materials against test certificates (TC verification).
Welding inspection Monitor TIG welding processes, check weld quality, and ensure compliance with standards.
Stage inspections – Conduct shop floor inspections at critical fabrication stages, documenting findings.
Equipment inspection – Verify quality of heat exchangers, storage tanks, and stainless steel equipment for food and pharma applications.
Hydrotesting supervision – Oversee hydrostatic testing of tanks and vessels, ensuring safety and compliance.
ASME compliance – Apply awareness of ASME codes during inspection and reporting.
Documentation & reporting – Maintain inspection records, prepare QC reports, and highlight deviations for corrective action
