Job Purpose

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, distribution expansion, outlet acquisition, distributor management, collections, and sales-team performance.

The candidate will be responsible for building a strong distribution network and ensuring regular product availability across retail outlets, institutions, offices, supermarkets, up-to-date trade, and other relevant channels.
Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Revenue
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute city/territory-wise sales plans.
Increase primary and secondary sales.
Identify recent business opportunities and high-potential markets.
Monitor daily sales against targets.




Prepare sales forecasts and achieve revenue objectives.
Develop strategies to increase sales volume and market share.

B. Distribution & Market Expansion
Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
Expand product distribution into new areas.
Identify current retail outlets and institutional customers.
Ensure adequate product availability at all important outlets.
Develop beat plans and route plans for the sales team.
Regularly visit markets and assess competitor activity.
Build strong relationships with distributors and retailers.

C. Outlet / Customer Acquisition
Identify potential retailers, supermarkets, offices, institutions, restaurants, hotels, and other customers.
Develop new accounts and convert prospects into regular customers.
Maintain a database of prospective and existing customers.
Ensure proper onboarding of recent customers.
Develop long-term relationships with key accounts.
