HVAC / FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEER
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, HVAC/Refrigeration, Building Services, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC and/or Fire Protection engineering experience in industrial plant EPC projects
• Experience with heat-load calculations, ventilation/pressurization, duct and piping design, Fire Fighting system, equipment selection, datasheets, specifications, layouts, hydraulic calculations, and vendor document reviews
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IFC and applicable client/civil-defense requirements, including hazardous and classified plant areas
• Proficiency in relevant calculation/design software (e.g., HAP, AutoSPRINK, hydraulic calculation tools, Pipe-net or equivalent)
• Preferred: Firewater, sprinkler/deluge, Foam system, clean-agent systems, smoke control, life-safety, authority approval, testing, balancing, or commissioning experience
