Role Summary

The Head of Quality will head the quality department across all MIL factories, with end-to-end ownership of quality systems, people, and outcomes.



This is a senior leadership role that combines hands-on technical judgement with system-building, team development, and direct engagement with buyers, inspection agencies, and auditors. The role is based full-time in Salem and requires relocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems creation & adherence: Install, document, and execute appropriate quality systems across factories, and ensure disciplined day-to-day adherence on the shop floor. Meenakshi India limited operates at an AQL 1.0 level of quality with extremely stringent and demanding customer base.
• Critical quality decisions: Exercise sound, commercially aware judgement on acceptable quality issues – making and standing behind critical accept/reject/rework decisions.
• Training & capability building: Formulate and run training programmes for quality control staff at all levels, building depth and consistency across multiple factor
