➢ Oversee the set-up of welding equipment. ➢ Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations. ➢ Carry out grinding and cutting operations to obtain various textures and sizes. ➢ Operate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapers. ➢ Maintain positive working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals. ➢ Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes. ➢ Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and project requirements. ➢ Operates or tends welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products and assembles. ➢ Observes and listens to welding machine and its controls to ensure welding process meets specifications. ➢ Inspects metal workpiece to ensure specifications are met, using measuring devices. ➢ To comply with the Quality and HSE standards and report to the concerned in case of any non compliance of the above standards noticed. ➢ The employee is required to perform other duties associated with the position at all times.
TIG & ARC 6G WELDER ➢ Minimum 3–5 years of experience in gas/LPG, fuel, or industrial piping. ➢ Qualified and experienced in 6G pipe welding position. ➢ Skilled in TIG (GTAW) root welding and ARC/SMAW filling and capping. ➢ Experience welding Carbon Steel (CS) and Stainless Steel (SS) piping as required. ➢ Experience with pipe fit-up, root gap, alignment and tack welding. ➢ Knowledge of WPS/PQR requirements and welding parameters. ➢ Familiar with NDT requirements, including RT, UT, PT and visual inspection. ➢ Good knowledge of welding consumables, electrode storage and handling. ➢ Must follow hot-work permit, fire prevention and gas safety requirements. ➢ Proper use of welding PPE, fire blanket, fire extinguisher and welding screens. ➢ Relevant 6G welding qualification/certification is preferred. ➢ Saudi/GCC site experience is preferred.
