TOOL ROOM OPERATOR
Key Responsibilities
Operate lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and other tool-room machines.
Manufacture and repair moulds, dies, jigs, fixtures, shafts, bushes, and other machine components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Perform precision measurements using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Carry out fitting, grinding, drilling, tapping, threading, and polishing operations.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, Machining, or Fitter trade.
Typically 2–5 years of relevant tool-room experience.
Experience with precision machining and measuring instruments.
CNC experience is an advantage.
