Key Responsibilities
Based at our Rowville VIC branch, our Trades Assistants work closely with our experienced Field Service Technicians, gaining practical, hands-on experience across a range of weighing and industrial equipment. This role provides an excellent pathway to develop your technical skills and industry knowledge, with the opportunity to progress into a Service Technician position once you have gained the required NMI certification. As a Trades Assistant at Diverseco, you’ll support our Service Team with day-to-day field and workshop activities while developing your Mechanical, Electrical or Electrotechnology knowledge and practical capabilities. You’ll be expected to be adaptable and flexible,



working alongside experienced technicians to assist with servicing, installation, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining positive customer relationships. With the support and training provided by Diverseco, the successful candidate will have the prospect to build their skills and progress into a fully qualified Service Technician role upon obtaining the required NMI certification.
About the Role
- Carry out installation of new equipment and assist other technicians or sales staff with installations as required
- Be responsive in troubleshooting equipment and performing corrective maintenance in breakdown situations
- Be prepared to travel to the locations of the work as determined by workload and customer location at the time of service
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with guidelines and locally determined schedules
- Ensure compliance with all facets of Trade Measurement Legislation and quality assurance st
