Position Summary:
Performs specific assignments, exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, adaptation, modification and application of interior design principles and applications, under general direction including programming and space planning analysis, concept design, schematic design, detailed design, engineering systems coordination, cost analysis, code research, tender documents, specifications and materials research, document checking,



including preparation of presentation materials.
Essential Job Functions
DESIGN
• Prepares design plans, elevations and details, reflected ceiling plans, power and communication
plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, finish plans, color plans and schedules using BIM (Revit) platform.
• Demonstrates understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts.
• Manipulates basic design elements such as proportion, color, light, texture & scale.
• Provides color/finish/material research and selection.
• Prepares presentation materials and renderings for client presentations.
• Adheres to firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability.
TECHNICAL
• Provides programming or space planning analysis with area calculations.
