OVERVIEW
A leading private university in Sri Lanka, with strong international affiliations and overseas academic partnerships, is seeking an accomplished academic leader to provide strategic leadership across its academic operations. The role will be responsible for driving academic excellence, strengthening academic standards, developing faculty capabilities and supporting the university’s continued growth and international positioning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide strategic leadership and direction across the university’s academic functions

• Lead the development and implementation of academic strategies aligned with institutional goals

• Oversee academic programs, curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives

• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and academic quality across faculties

• Lead and develop academic staff, faculty heads and academic leadership teams

• Strengthen academic governance,



policies and quality assurance processes

• Monitor academic performance, student outcomes and program effectiveness

• Support the development of recent academic programs in line with industry and market requirements

• Develop and strengthen relationships with international universities and academic partners

• Drive international academic collaborations, partnerships and opportunities

• Ensure alignment with relevant higher education standards and regulatory requirements

• Work closely with the senior management team on institutional strategy and growth

• Represent the university in key academic, professional and external stakeholder engagements

PRE-REQUISITES
• PhD in Marketing/Business/Academic/ Statistics/Information Technology or any related field is mandatory
• 15+ years of academic and higher education experience
• Proven experience in senior academic leadership or academic administrat
