About the roleJoin Deloitte to support global cybersecurity initiatives by deploying and maintaining Web Application Firewalls and Zero Trust Proxy systems. This role focuses on enhancing application and network security through configuration, monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Key responsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and maintain Web Application Firewall systems to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.Implement and manage Zero Trust Proxy solutions, defining and maintaining access policies and connectors.Monitor security events and logs, investigate incidents, and collaborate with SOC and cybersecurity teams to respond effectively.Develop detection rules and alerts to proactively identify and mitigate risks using log analysis.Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for WAF integration with CDNs and support application security best practices.Required skills and experience4+ years of experience with at least 2 years in network security and 2 years in application security.Solid understanding of web application security concepts including OWASP Top 10 and familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OIDC.Expertise in Web Application Firewalls, Zero Trust Network Access, API security, and cloud security policies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.Experience with security operations including log analysis, threat detection, and incident response.Proficiency with HTTP protocol, troubleshooting, and technical background in web development and attack vectors.Knowledge of automation tools and infrastructure as code such as Python and Terraform.Nice to haveExperience with WAF technologies like Akamai and integration with Zero Trust frameworks.Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIAC.Familiarity with ethical hacking, ServiceNow, and technical documentation.Comfort and experience using AI tools to enhance security automation and analysis.Bi-lingual abilities and excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences.LocationShaikpet, Telangana, India
