About the Role

Concept PR is looking for a Senior PR Executive – Sports to join our Delhi team. We are looking for a passionate communications professional with a robust understanding of the sports ecosystem and the ability to create impactful media opportunities for athletes, teams, leagues, brands and sporting events.

The ideal candidate should be confident in media relations, content development and client servicing, and should have the ability to work in a fast-paced sports environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day PR activities for sports clients, athletes, teams, leagues, events and sports brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sports journalists, editors, broadcasters, digital publishers and influencers.
- Develop and execute media outreach strategies to generate relevant and high-quality coverage.
- Identify opportunities for interviews, features, profiles, expert commentary, opinion pieces and other media engagements.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, talking points, Q&As; and other communication materials.
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, media interactions and other PR activities.
- Support the planning and execution of PR campaigns around sporting events, launches, announcements and milestones.
- Stay updated on sports news, trends, personalities, tournaments and developments across key sporting categories.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports, campaign updates and coverage analysis.




- Participate in client calls and meetings and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop creative and relevant communication ideas.
- Support senior team members in developing communication strategies and client presentations.
- Assist in new business pitches, proposals and presentations when required.
- Manage multiple deadlines and deliverables while maintaining a high standard of work.

What We're Looking For

- 2–3 years of experience in PR, communications or media relations, preferably with sports PR experience.
- Prior experience working with a PR agency will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the sports media landscape and sports journalism.
- Existing relationships with sports journalists and media houses will be highly valued.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media pitching and storytelling abilities.
- Good client-servicing and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Passion for sports and a genuine interest in the Indian sports ecosystem.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required for sporting events and campaigns.
