About the Role

We're looking for a Visual Design Intern who can bring craft, taste, and a strong sense of direction to Paytm's visual language - someone who thinks beyond a single polished screen and can translate everyday, utility-first product moments into visuals that feel considered and unmistakably Paytm. You'll work on illustration, iconography, and visual systems for product surfaces used at scale - sourcing references, building a point of view, and executing that direction with craft, alongside designers and stakeholders across the team. Throughout the internship, you'll have a dedicated design mentor, participate in design critiques, and learn how a considered visual direction gets built, defended, and scaled across a product.

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Design Intern who thinks beyond pretty screens and cares about solving real user

problems.

You'll work on a product alongside designers, product managers, and engineers-understanding users, exploring

solutions, building prototypes, and taking experiences from early ideas to polished designs.

Throughout the internship, you'll have a dedicated design mentor, participate in design critiques, and learn how

thoughtful design decisions are made in a fast-moving product environment.

What You'll Do

. Work on product flows, user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.

. Understand user needs and translate them into clear design solutions.

. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and senior designers.

. Create interactive prototypes for testing and stakeholder reviews.

. Contribute to UX research insights, competitor analysis,



and usability improvements.

. Design experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and scalable.

. Use design systems to maintain consistency across products.

. Take feedback, iterate fast, and improve design quality with every round.

What We're Looking For

. Final-year student pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a

related field.

. Strong UX fundamentals and product thinking.

. Positive visual design skills with attention to detail.

. Ability to understand problems, explore alternatives, and clearly explain design decisions.

. Understanding of user flows, interaction patterns, wireframing, and prototyping.

. Hands-on experience with Figma or similar design tools with an understanding of design systems.

. Familiarity with AI tools as part of the design workflow.

. Curiosity, ownership, and openness to feedback.

. A portfolio with strong case studies or UX explorations that demonstrate your process and thinking
