1. Job Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize build and deployment processes across cloud and on-prem environments.
Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and performance through automation and best practices.
Work with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release cycles and improve system reliability.
Adopt and integrate up-to-date Dev Ops tools and practices to enhance delivery speed and system resilience.
Document processes, configurations, and incidents to support transparency and continuous improvement.

2. Key Challenges:

Maintaining system uptime and deployment reliability across environments.
Managing infrastructure changes with minimal disruption and risk.

3. Decision Making Authority

Decisions made alone CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure automation scripts, monitoring setup, and incident resolution.




Manager to be Consulted Infrastructure strategy, tool selection, budget planning, and compliance alignment.

4. Stakeholder Management

Internal stakeholders Development Teams, QA, IT Operations, Security.
External stakeholders Cloud Service Providers, Dev Ops Tool Vendors, Managed Service Providers.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications in Dev Ops, AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc).
Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
Familiarity with cloud platforms and monitoring tools.

System monitoring and incident response.
Version control and configuration management.
