Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CAD Diamond Designer to create detailed 2D/3D jewellery designs using CAD software. The candidate should have a strong understanding of diamond setting, jewellery manufacturing, proportions, and current design trends.
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD jewellery designs for diamond jewellery.
Develop designs for rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces and other jewellery.
Convert sketches, concepts and reference images into production-ready CAD models.
Ensure correct diamond sizes, stone settings, metal thickness and proportions.
Modify designs according to client or production requirements.
Prepare detailed files/renderings for manufacturing and approval.
Coordinate with designers, merchandisers, production and jewellery manufacturing teams.
Check designs for technical feasibility and minimize production issues.
Maintain design files and make revisions as required.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Rhino 3D, Matrix Gold, JewelCAD or similar jewellery CAD software.
Good knowledge of diamond jewellery and stone-setting techniques.
Understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
Strong knowledge of measurements, proportions and metal specifications.
Creative approach with attention to detail.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple designs.
Qualification
Diploma/Degree/Certification in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Candidate
Experience in diamond jewellery CAD designing.




Valuable knowledge of international and Indian jewellery designs.
Strong creativity and ability to develop new designs from concepts.
Portfolio of previous CAD jewellery work is an advantage.
