Key Responsibilities

- Design domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage and natural gas systems for US building projects.
- Perform plumbing sizing calculations, equipment selection and system design.
- Develop fire suppression design criteria as per NFPA 13.
- Prepare sprinkler layouts, standpipe, fire pump and underground fire service designs.
- Review fire protection shop drawings and hydraulic calculations.
- Create coordinated construction documents and BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Prepare plumbing and fire protection specifications under Divisions 21/22.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, AHJ comments, plan checks and construction administration.
- Coordinate with US engineers, architects, structural teams, vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.



Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Mandatory.
- Mid-Level: 4 7 years of experience in plumbing design with fire protection exposure.
- Senior: 8+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years in a lead/reviewer role.
- Experience with MEP consulting/design firms preferred.
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP and ability to model systems from scratch.
- Experience with US building projects and US codes strongly preferred.
- Experience with California, Florida, Georgia or New York codes is an added advantage.
- Robust written and verbal English communication skills.
- Willingness to work with US business-hour overlap.
