## Job Summary

/n

We are looking for a **FreeSWITCH Implementation Engineer** who will be responsible for **designing, deploying, configuring, integrating, and maintaining FreeSWITCH-based VoIP platforms**. The role involves working closely with **SIP, RTP, WebRTC, IVR, conferencing, call routing, and external integrations** in a production setting.

## Key Responsibilities

/n

### FreeSWITCH Core Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Install, configure, and maintain **FreeSWITCH** in production environments from scratch.

/n

- Design and implement **call flows, dialplans, IVRs, conferencing, and call routing** with complete ownership.

/n

- Configure **SIP profiles (internal/external), gateways, trunks, and extensions**.

/n

- Implement **multi-tenant and high-availability FreeSWITCH architectures**.

/n

/n

### SIP, RTP & Networking

/n

/n

- Strong understanding of **SIP signaling, RTP media, and SDP negotiation**.

/n

- Troubleshoot **one-way audio, no-audio, call drops, and registration failures**.

/n

- Configure **NAT traversal, firewall rules, and RTP port ranges**.

/n

- Analyze SIP logs and traces using **siptrace, sngrep, and tcpdump**.

/n

/n

### Dialplan & Scripting

/n

/n

- Develop dialplans using:

/n

- XML

/n

- Lua / Java Script / Python

/n

- Implement logic for:

/n

- Call queues for inbound and outbound calls

/n

- Time-based routing





/n

- Skill-based routing

/n

- Failover and fallback handling

/n

/n

### Integrations & APIs

/n

/n

- Integrate FreeSWITCH with:

/n

- CRM / ERP systems

/n

- Billing platforms

/n

- AI voice bots (ASR/TTS)

/n

- External Web Socket or REST services

/n

- Use **Event Socket Library (ESL)**:

/n

- Inbound & Outbound ESL

/n

- Real-time call control and monitoring

/n

/n

### WebRTC & Media

/n

/n

- Configure **WebRTC support (DTLS-SRTP, ICE, OPUS)**.

/n

- Work with **mod_verto, SIP over WSS**.

/n

- Implement browser-based calling solutions.

/n

/n

### Monitoring & Debugging

/n

/n

- Monitor system performance and call quality.

/n

- Analyze logs and CDRs.

/n

- Optimize codec usage and RTP performance.

/n

- Handle live production incidents and RCA.

/n

/n

### Deployment & Operations

/n

/n

- Deploy FreeSWITCH on:

/n

- Linux (CentOS / Ubuntu)

/n

- Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure – preferred)

/n

- Configure **HA, load balancing, and scaling**.

/n

- Work with Dev Ops teams for CI/CD, backups, and automation.

/n

- Strong experience with **FreeSWITCH**.

- Solid knowledge of **VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, RTCP, WebRTC)**.

- Linux system administration.

/n

- Dialplan development (**XML/Lua/JS/Python**).

- ESL & event-driven call control.

/n

- Debugging tools (**fs_cli, sngrep, tcpdump**).

/n

- SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL (CDR, reporting).
