Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain GST-related records and documentation.
- Prepare and file GST returns such as GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.
- Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase invoices and books of accounts.
- Verify GST invoices for correct GSTIN, HSN/SAC, tax rates, and other required details.
- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) and identify discrepancies or missing invoices.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding GST invoices, credit/debit notes, and reconciliation issues.
- Assist in GST annual return and audit-related activities.
- Maintain proper records for GST notices, assessments, and correspondence.
- Prepare bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure timely recording and filing of accounting documents.




- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documents and information.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation rules.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com) or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting and GST-related work.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST rules, returns, ITC, and reconciliation.
- Valuable knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP accounting software.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, including basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and reconciliation.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks.
