We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and support high-performance backend services

/n

Required Skills-

/n

/n

- Core and Advanced Java, including Java 8-17 features.

/n

- Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Web Flux, Spring JDBC, and Spring AOP.

/n

- Completable Future, asynchronous programming, reactive programming, and microservices.

/n

- REST API design, error handling, validation, security, and service integration.

/n

- JUnit, Mockito, Git Hub branching, pull requests, and CI/CD.

/n

- Solid debugging, performance tuning, Linux/Unix, and Apache Tomcat knowledge.

/n

/n

Preferred Skills-

/n

/n

- Experience in financial services, investment operations, accounting, reconciliation, or asset servicing.

/n

- Experience modernizing legacy or mission-critical enterprise applications.

/n





- Exposure to AS400/IBM i and DB2.

/n

- Azure or AWS experience; Docker and Kubernetes exposure.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Design and develop scalable Java applications, REST APIs, and microservices.

/n

- Build reactive or asynchronous services with Spring Web Flux and Completable Future where appropriate.

/n

- Translate functional requirements and legacy behavior into maintainable Java components.

/n

- Develop database-access layers and optimize application-to-database interactions.

/n

- Create comprehensive unit, integration, and component tests.

/n

- Review code and promote secure coding and engineering best practices.

/n

- Troubleshoot application and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve performance and stability.

/n

- Contribute to CI/CD automation, deployments, monitoring, releases, and operational documentation.

/n

- Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, operations, support, and business stakeholders; mentor junior developers.

/n
