Organization Description: Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family-run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500 years old traditional art forms.
The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary created a unique business model, which provides livelihood to the artisans at their doorstep. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India.

It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug.

Key Responsibilities

/n

- Attend walk-in customers and understand their design and furnishing requirements

/n

- Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences, space planning, and interior aesthetics

/n

- Assist customers in selecting rugs, home décor, furniture, and related products

/n

- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and product suggestions when required

/n

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets

/n





- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, and interior designers

/n

- Conduct follow-ups with prospective customers and convert inquiries into sales

/n

- Maintain showroom displays and ensure products are presented attractively

/n

- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and customer support

/n

- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, colors, and market development

/n

- Handle customer queries and provide excellent after-sales support

/n

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong design sensibility and creativity

/n

- . Excellent knowledge of space planning and aesthetics.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, V-Ray, 3D Max, or similar design software.

- Valuable understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
