Responsibilities

- Develop secure and scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, and AWS.
- Design REST-based APIs and microservices integrating PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Build responsive and accessible web interfaces with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Configure GitLab repositories, branching workflows, and build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, queries, and migrations for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Implement Redis caching strategies to improve latency and application resilience.
- Apply secure coding standards and create automated unit, integration, and component tests.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, quality specialists, and other stakeholders in a hybrid team.
- Monitor application health, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions using AWS services.
- Document application designs, configuration decisions, and deployment runbooks.
- Participate in code reviews and pair development sessions.




- Support planned day-shift production releases and promptly address defects.

Requirements

- At least four years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus for enterprise backend services.
- Experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript for maintainable and accessible single-page applications.
- Practical expertise with AWS services for application hosting, storage, and monitoring.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and migration practices.
- Experience configuring and using GitLab for version control and pipeline automation.
- Experience using Redis caching patterns to improve response times and support high read traffic.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in distributed hybrid teams.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate or an equivalent cloud certification is preferred.
