Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (Postgres DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 10 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.

Responsibilities:

- Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MSSQL databases.- Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance for scalability and efficiency.- Backup and Recovery:



Implement and test backup and disaster recovery plans.- Cross-Platform Support: Manage databases on both Linux and Windows Server environments.- Robust hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL- Proficiency in SQL, shell scripting, and database monitoring tools.- Solid understanding of replication, clustering, and high availability setups.- Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Good to have:

- Exposure to Postgress/ Mongo cloud database services (OCI).- Familiarity monitoring tools like ops manager, Prometheus and Grafana, SolarWinds- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
