Role Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting activities. The role requires hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and Tally ERP/Tally Prime, along with solid analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.- Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and supporting schedules.- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance activities, including timely filing of returns.- Prepare vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.- Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting.- Coordinate with auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required documentation.- Monitor receivables and payables to ensure smooth cash flow management.- Process journal entries, expense accounting, and month-end/year-end closing activities.- Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, HR,



and Operations teams for finance-related activities.- Support process improvements and maintain proper financial documentation.- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in commerce (BCom), Finance, or Accounting.- MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.- 3–6 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.- Mandatory hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime.- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

Compensation

- Take Home Salary: Up to Rs.55,000/- per month- Salary will be offered based on experience, technical expertise, and interview performance.
