We are hiring: Senior ATE Board / Layout Designer

S.A.S Advanced Technologies is looking for an experienced Board / PCB Layout Designer with deep hands-on experience in semiconductor test hardware.

This is a senior position.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of practical experience designing complex ATE boards and a strong understanding of how the semiconductor test industry actually works.

Required experience:

• Minimum 5 years in ATE board design / PCB layout

• Hands-on experience with Advantest platforms, including T2000 and/or V93000

• Hands-on experience with Teradyne UltraFLEX

• Strong experience with Load Boards, DUT Boards, Probe Cards and high-density test interfaces

• Excellent understanding of high-speed PCB layout, stackup, impedance control, return paths, power distribution and routing constraints

• Ability to understand tester architecture and translate tester and device requirements into a manufacturable board design

• Experience working with SI/PI engineers, mechanical engineers, PCB manufacturers and assembly houses





• Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows, production requirements and customer expectations

• Ability to review specifications, identify missing information and raise technical risks before layout starts

We are not looking for someone who only knows how to operate a CAD tool.

We want someone who understands the tester, the device, the application and the manufacturing environment.

Someone who can look at a current requirement and understand what matters, what is missing, what can fail and what questions need to be asked before the design starts.
