Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Cohesity Resident Engineer to provide embedded technical expertise for enterprise data protection initiatives.This is a hands-on role requiring deep knowledge of Cohesity platform administration, AWS cloud infrastructure, and immutable backup environments.The successful candidate will work independently from India in a remote capacity, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and operational support to drive successful platform deployment, optimization, and ongoing management.Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, and tune Cohesity clusters across diverse environmentsAdminister Cohesity DataProtect and Data Manage; manage Smartfiles implementationsDesign and execute disaster recovery strategies; perform failover testing and validationManage VMware, Linux, and Windows workload protection policiesArchitect and configure AWS S3 and EC2 backup/archival solutionsImplement and manage FortKnox immutable backup environmentsTroubleshoot technical issues and optimize cluster performanceCreate comprehensive technical documentation and runbooksWork independently in a remote setting with minimal supervisionRequired Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on enterprise data protection engineering experience3+ years of direct Cohesity platform administration experienceProven expertise with Cohesity cluster deployment, configuration, and optimizationStrong AWS knowledge (S3, EC2, cloud backup architectures)Demonstrated experience with FortKnox immutable backup environmentsProficiency protecting VMware, Linux, and Windows workloadsHands-on experience designing and validating disaster recovery solutionsExcellent technical documentation and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentPreferred Qualifications:Cohesity Certified Administrator (CCA) certificationAWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or equivalent)Experience with regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, etc.)Hands-on experience with Cohesity Helios multi-cluster managementPrior resident engineer, embedded consultant, or customer success engineering experienceCore Technical Competencies:Cohesity platform (DataProtect, DataManage, Smartfiles, Helios)AWS cloud services and architectureImmutable backup technology and FortKnoxVirtualization (VMware vSphere)Linux and Windows system administrationBackup and disaster recovery best practicesNetwork and security protocols
