Job Description – Showroom Sales Executive | Light Division

About the Role

Ganpati Homez is looking for a confident, presentable and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executive for our Lighting Division. The candidate will be responsible for handling showroom customers, understanding their lighting requirements, recommending suitable products and converting enquiries into sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and professionally assist walk-in customers at the showroom.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, budget and project needs.
- Explain and recommend suitable decorative, architectural and functional lighting products.
- Demonstrate product features, specifications, applications, quality and pricing.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate with customers for order confirmation.
- Follow up regularly with enquiries and prospective customers through calls and WhatsApp.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales targets and contribute to showroom revenue.
- Maintain proper product display and showroom presentation.
- Maintain customer enquiry, quotation and sales records.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Warehouse, Accounts and Delivery teams for smooth order execution.
- Handle customer queries and provide professional pre-sales and after-sales support.




- Develop strong product knowledge and stay updated on current lighting products and market trends.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, interior designers, architects and other relevant clients.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate / Diploma / 12th Pass with relevant sales experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in showroom sales preferred.
- Experience in Lighting, Electrical, Interior Products, Furniture, Hardware, Sanitaryware or Building Materials will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Confident, presentable and professional personality.
- Strong follow-up, negotiation and sales-conversion skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate products.
