ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Experience : around 1 to 3 years in any manufacturing company preferably involved in estimations

Qualification : Diploma/ BE/ BTech in Mechanical /Mechatronics/Electrical/Industrial Engineering. We are open to a commercial back ground as well with an interest in engineering.

Job Description:

The Estimation Engineer will report to the Manager of Project Management and has to carry out estimations for projects in the company. The role should understand client’s requirement, prepare the Bill of Quantities and prepare quotations. The role should also be involved in contract processing.This position is based in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review customer enquiries & Understand requirements
- Preparation of BOQs based on inputs from designers & client’s specification documents
- Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare and submit commercial offers.
- Preparation of Tender Documents for projects requiring this
- Follow up on quotations and maintain enquiry status.
- Review received PO against the submitted quotation.
- Coordinate with the sales team for resolution of PO deviations.
- Prepare project/order handover documentation for engineering teams




- Monitor project commercial status.
- Follow up for milestone payments and outstanding receivables in coordination with finance.
- Maintain project-related records
