Java Developer (Payment Gateway)

Location: Mumbai – Malad West

Role & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications.
- Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop backend solutions.
- Develop and implement REST/JSON-based web services and APIs.
- Design and implement database schemas.
- Work using Agile methodology and tools such as JIRA for task management.
- Translate business requirements into high-quality, maintainable code.
- Ensure code aligns with project objectives and development standards.
- Work extensively with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Support other developers with coding, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver assigned tasks within defined timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Mandatory Requirements

- 5–8 years of overall experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in the Payment Gateway domain.
- Robust understanding of Java 8/11, Spring Boot/Spring Framework, Hibernate, REST APIs,



and API development.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices and backend application development.
- Good understanding of payment gateway architecture, transaction processing, and payment flows.
- Experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with Docker and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.
- Knowledge of DDD (Domain-Driven Design) and SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of TDD/BDD and experience writing unit test cases.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
