About the role

We are hiring a news presenter to research, write and present news and current-affairs content for our digital and social platforms. You will be on camera regularly, conducting interviews and anchoring stories for a North Kerala audience.

What you'll do

- Research, script and present news and feature content in Malayalam and English
- Conduct interviews with newsmakers, officials and members of the public
- Anchor short-form content for YouTube, Instagram and other digital platforms
- Work with the content and production teams on daily story planning
- Track current affairs, local developments and social media trends

What we're looking for

- 1–2 years of experience in journalism, news, broadcast or digital media
- Fluency in Malayalam and English, with clear, correct pronunciation in both




- Solid command of the Malabar dialect and familiarity with North Kerala news, culture and community affairs
- Confident on-camera presence and clear delivery
- Solid interviewing, storytelling and research skills
- Comfortable covering community, cultural and religious affairs reporting
- Able to work to daily deadlines in a fast-moving newsroom

- Existing showreel or published/aired work
