Role: HRBP – People & Culture, Nariman Point, Mumbai
Domain Focus: Prior experience within Accounting, Tax, Legal, or Professional Advisory/Consulting firms is strongly preferred.
Experience: 6–10 years of core HRBP / Talent Management / People & Culture experience.
Skills: Strong expertise in Performance Management Systems (PMS), Culture & Engagement, Learning & Development (L&D;), stakeholder management, and HR analytics.
Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai.
Budget: ₹15 – ₹20 LPA.
We are seeking a highly analytical and people-oriented HRBP who will work closely with the leadership team. This colleague will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders while driving key people initiatives across the firm. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with deep HR expertise in talent management, organizational development, performance management, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Business Partnering
- Partner with business unit leaders to understand goals and translate them into effective HR strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters, coaching leaders on team dynamics, conflict resolution, and people decisions.
- Provide data-driven insights on workforce trends to support business decision-making.
Organizational Development
- Support org design, restructuring, and change management initiatives.
- Identify capability gaps and design interventions to build organizational effectiveness.
- Drive culture-building initiatives aligned with company values.
Talent Management
- Drive talent review and succession planning processes.
- Partner with talent acquisition on workforce planning and hiring strategy for the business unit.
- Identify high-potential talent and support career development pathways.
Performance Management
- Own the end-to-end performance management cycle for the business unit - goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, calibration.
- Coach managers on giving effective feedback and managing underperformance.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and recommend interventions.
Employee Engagement
- Design and execute engagement surveys, action planning, and follow-through.
- Drive initiatives that improve employee experience, retention, and morale.
- Serve as an escalation point for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 6 – 10 years of progressive HR experience, with HRBP expertise.
- Proven experience in organizational development, talent management, and performance management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience designing and executing employee engagement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and comfort working with people data/metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience partnering with mid-to-senior leadership in a fast-paced or matrixed environment.
- Change management or org design certification is a plus.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
