About the Role

GENI GROUP is looking for an experienced Fundraising and Investor Relations Manager to support our fundraising and investor engagement activities.

The candidate will work closely with the Founder and internal teams to identify suitable investors, prepare fundraising materials, manage investor communication, coordinate meetings and support the fundraising process.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and research suitable investors, including Angel Investors, Venture Capital firms, Family Offices and Strategic Investors.
- Build and manage a qualified investor pipeline.
- Prepare and maintain investor presentations, pitch decks, teasers and fundraising materials.
- Coordinate and schedule investor meetings.
- Manage investor communication, follow-ups and relationship building.
- Support due diligence activities and coordinate information requests with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate investor records and CRM updates.
- Work closely with the Founder, Finance, Legal, Product and Operations teams.
- Prepare regular fundraising and investor pipeline reports.
- Support fundraising activities from investor outreach through meetings and due diligence.





Required Experience & Skills

- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Startup Fundraising, Investor Relations, Private Capital, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Family Office or Transaction Advisory.
- Experience in managing investor outreach and fundraising processes.
- Good understanding of fundraising, financial concepts, valuation, burn rate, runway and dilution.
- Solid communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to prepare and manage investor-related documents and presentations.
- Experience working with startups, AI, SaaS, PropTech, HealthTech, Consumer/Retail or Real Estate sectors is an advantage.
- Strong professional integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with proven experience in startup fundraising or private capital transactions.
- Candidates who can demonstrate their personal role in fundraising transactions.
- Chennai-based candidates are preferred.
