About the Role

Qilin Lab is looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, containerization, deployment, and automation. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EC2, and Shell scripting and be comfortable troubleshooting and maintaining production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain application deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Configure, manage, and monitor AWS EC2 instances and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Write and maintain Shell/Bash scripts to automate routine operational tasks.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot deployment or production issues.
- Manage containerized applications and ensure their availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Implement DevOps best practices for scalability, security, and system reliability.
- Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a related role.




- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Good knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Practical experience with AWS EC2.
- Good understanding of Shell/Bash scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Good understanding of Linux systems and command-line operations.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Knowledge of AWS services apart from EC2.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or other monitoring tools.
- Understanding of networking, security groups, load balancers, and basic cloud security practices.
- Experience working with production environments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of DevOps and infrastructure tasks.
