Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee time and motion studies, process optimization and industrial engineering initiatives across press operations and allied processes.

2. Drive line balancing, capacity planning and layout design to maximize throughput, eliminate bottlenecks and improve overall plant efficiency.

3. Own and improve key operational metrics including OEE, cycle time, changeover time, downtime, and productivity.

4. Design and implement optimal plant layouts, material flow systems, and ergonomic workstations to enhance safety and output.

5. Champion the deployment of lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka-Yoke, VSM, and visual management across the shop floor.

6. Monitor, analyze and report daily/weekly/monthly production, manpower utilization, and cost performance to senior leadership.

7. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain teams to execute continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.

8. Develop and execute capacity planning, resource allocation, and manpower strategies to meet current and future order requirements.

Identify and eliminate waste and non-value-added activities to drive significant cost savings and operational excellence.

10. Build, mentor and manage the operations and industrial engineering team, setting explicit goals and developing talent.

11. Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and delivery standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Education: BE/ BTech/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Production or related field (Mandatory).

Experience: 8+ years of experience in manufacturing and operations.

Location: Virar (Company Bus service available from Virar station to factory)
