About Us:
Mayfield Corporate is a diversified business group operating across manufacturing, footwear, matting, and industrial sectors. We are seeking a diligent and proactive Corporate Lawyer to oversee our legal affairs, ensure statutory compliance, and protect our business interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, evaluate, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor contracts, distributor/dealer agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Corporate Compliance: Ensure company operations comply with labor laws, factory regulations, environmental standards, and corporate governance norms.
- Intellectual Property (IP): Assist in trademark filings, brand copyright protections, and monitor against product design infringements.
- Dispute Resolution & Litigation: Coordinate with external advocates for any legal disputes, notices, recovery cases, or court proceedings.
- Internal Legal Advisory: Provide transparent, business-focused legal guidance to senior management and departmental heads across all divisions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Master of Laws (LL.M) from a recognized university.
- Bar Enrollment: Valid enrollment with the Bar Council of Kerala / India.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in corporate legal advisory, contract management, or handling business litigation.
- Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills; thorough knowledge of Indian contract law, corporate law, and commercial regulations.
- Languages: Fluent in Malayalam and professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
